Not happy with Laser hair removal!!

I had 5 sessions done and paid a package price of $1400, I have noticed a reduction in hair but I still have to tweeze hairs from my chin! Has anyone else had this done before and were happy with the results. I would have to spend alot of money to get rid of all my hair. Any suggestions for hairy arms?? I am so embarrased by them I notice people looking at them all the time. I need help!!

I had laser hair removal done about 3 years ago. I didn't have too many hairs but they were very dark and I am very pale. At the time I had no idea why I had these, I just thought I was a freak. I paid around $1200 and the hair came back -- or it might be that new ones started to grow in and I couldn't tell the difference. Anyway, I was told (after learning I have PCOS) that I have to be on a drug such as spironolactone and or new ones will grow in and it will look like it is the same ones returning. Did that make any sense? So maybe they are different ones in the same areas???

thats the range we paid for my laser....actually i think mine was about 2 grand once it was said and done. it was not a cure, BUT there is less than there was. i can go 2 days without shaving if necessary and more if i wasn't so self conscience.(sp) mine is lighter than it was before, and there is less of it, but it is still there. when i had it done she also told me that might happen, but after the intial treatments to come back every 3-6 months and have a touch up done...something i haven't done.

laser has changed/evolved since i had mine done....but something to keep in mind, if your body is growing the hair due to pcos that isn't being treated, then the hair is just going to come back.

i am fairly pleased with my results and if i had the money i would have more done, but if i only had to pluck a few here and there i would be a happy camper

i got my eyebrows and 'goatee' waxed today, 2 places i refuse to shave and i have a problem plucking alot, i don't like inflicting pain upon myself
