Hi there,
I see there were no replies to your post, and that you are from Florida too!!! I don't know if this will help you or not, but have you ever looked into Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome? It is a hypothyroid mimic, you can have all or some hypothyroid symptoms, but blood tests are usually normal. It is diagnosed by body temperature. I have it, and I have been on the meds for it, and they helped immensely. He is also from Florida, is Dr. Wilson.
His therapy is for those who have all forms of hypothyroid, as almost all seem to experience some relief of symptoms and many already on thyroid meds are able to lower their doses or completely get off of them. I'm not sure how it works for nodule reductions, not a clue, but the side effects it can help.
He is just starting to really gear up his web site with loads of info, tying in diabetes with hypothyroid and low body temps, and his weekly newsletter reply to a poor girl with PCOS is what inspired my search for PCOS on the net. I have been fighting a myriad of symptoms for decades and am finally getting a handle on what it is that is the root of my problems and how best to deal with it all. I do encourage you to at least visit
www.wilsonsthyroidsyndrome.com and see what is there. Knowledge is power.
