I just had all my tests done and was not found to be IR, but my doc put me on Met anyhow just to see if it would help regulate my cycles a bit more, did this work for anyone else? What dosage were you on? I'm on 500mg a day.

I'm also not IR - I've been on Met since Sept 2007. Met has helped a bit with the facial hair and given me motivation to lose weight, but I have not gotten my period yet. I saw the dr. on Saturday, going for more tests and then she's increasing my dose and putting me on clomid to help. I'm praying this is the solution!
I don't know if I am IR or not, my doctor never did blood tests! My doctor diagnosed me just by an ultrasound...he put me on 500mg. also and I had two very LIGHT periods since November. The other day I spotted for like 3 days or so...I don't know what is going on with my body! I don't know if any of those could be considered periods or if my body was just spotting. What do you think?
not IR and on Met...did it work?
