So I just found out today that my SIL has lost all her triplets at 20 weeks. I feel absolutely awful. I cannot even imagine how my brother and SIL must feel. I wish I knew what to say or do for them but I don't. I feel absolutely helpless.

That's so terribly sad... I'm so sorry.

Let them know that you're there for them, maybe send them a sympathy card for their tremendous loss...

My miscarriage was early on, but the best thing anyone said to me was, "I'm so sorry for your loss." Someone acknowledging my loss, letting me know they were thinking of me, it meant a lot.

I had a friend and her bro and SIL lost twins at 22 weeks. I think the only thing you can do is let them know if they need you that you will be there. My friend even though they weren't her children also went through a lost so I also think it is important to make sure if you have grief that you greive as well.....IAM VERY sorry for everyone's loss.

That is terrible. There is a young lady on this site that also lost triplets at 20 weeks. What a horrible thing for her and you to have to go through. So sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry. If you want to be helpful, there are often support groups for bereaved parents, at hospitals or nearby, and you could locate one for them. That was something I benefitted from a few months down the road. Being loving and supportive at this time is really the only thing anyone can do. Finding online or in-person support from other bereaved parents was the only thing that kept me sane at all, so I hope they find something. You can also mention the babies' names aloud when you can, and remember their special dates like the due date (we planted a tree on our due date), and their birthday. (((Hugs))) all around.
