Wink Not so Sinful Indulgences!

I wanted to start a thread where people could talk about the yummy snack and foods they indulge to feed that sweet tooth or squash that potato chip craving. Tell us what snack you use to satisfy your cravings without completely falling off the wagon.

Here are a few of mine.

Dannon La Crème Mouse Yogurt in French Vanilla – Oh so good, tastes just like your eating cheesecake and only 110 calories.

Frozen Mixed Berries & Cool Whip – 60 Calories for ¾ cup of berries and 25 calories for 2 tablespoons of Cool Whip. A refreshing after dinner desert.

Angel Food Cake – Topped with a dollop of CW and some freshly sliced strawberries. 275 calories.

Ok, anyone else have any tasty treats they’d like to share?

Ooh, I eat fruit leather too! I love it. Another one of my favorites is berries with fat-free whipped cream (and sometimes I allow myself to have angel food cake with it).

A Snickers bar....
Now don't get all mad at me, it is balanced in terms of the IR diet and it settles my sweet tooth for a while. I also try to go for the party size ones or the mini ones if it's just a matter of settling a craving.

I will also have a Chai Latte.

I just discovered sugar-free Jello PUDDING snack packs. The vanilla is so good. Also, Blue Bunny Carb Freedom Ice Cream Bars. They're a little high in fat, but they satisfy my ice cream cravings without have the resort to the DQ.

I just tried the Sugar free Chai Latte. What a delicious drink! Reminds me of the christmas holiday. I'm thinking it would go great with some sugar free shortbread cookies.

If you like the chai latte-- Tazo makes a tea-bag called chai that is delicious with fat free milk added.

I was at a store called Cost-Plus Imports the other day and I bought this tea. I am glad you say it is good because I have missed my chai tea latte'. Where do you get the sugar free shortbread cookies from? Do you bake them? In case anyone is interested when I was looking at the food section of Cost Plus they had sugar free almond rocca (sp?) too! Yummy

The sugar free shortbread are from Snackwells brand by Nabsico. They are delicious and not too high in sugar alcohol.

Thank you. I am on my second cup of the day today. I like it because the spices in it make me feel all warm and tingly. I can't decide if it tastes like gingerbread, eggnog or pumpkin pie. It reminds me of all three actually. I don't think I will ever go back to coffee.
