I have just found out that the Dr.'s think my SIL has PCOS. I have let her know that if she has any questions or just needs to talk to let me know. But should I call and initiate the conversation or just let her come to me? I want to talk to her about it but don't want her to feel that I'm butting in, which I've had a problem with before. I just don't know.

IMO, if I were just diagnosed and my SIL also has the same thing, I'd love to talk to her about her. Im sure she has a lot of questions and you could be of some assistance answering those.

I think after a few weeks you could ask her how she's handling it all, and then she'll open up if she needs to. It sounds like you let her know you're there, and maybe she just needs to digest this for a while herself.
