Default Not sure what to think...help!

Hi, didn't really know where to post this so went for general. So went to the doctors about PCOS July 13th. He put me on 1700 mg of metformin a day. I started taking it July 17th. I took it faithfully til August 20th. I even got my first period in 9 months after just two weeks of met. I quit taking it on the 20th because I had constant diarrhea on this medication and I wanted to have a weekend off since we were going away. Well then we decided to move, i've been off now for more than three weeks. If id had a normal cycle, I should have gotten my period on the 4th of september, of course it didn't come, I didn't expect it to as I was not taking the Met and never had regular periods in a row anyway. BUT since last Sunday i've been spotting pretty heavily 2-3 times a day and it is almost always brown and mixed with discharge. I have had a few pains in my abdomen, but thats all, no cramps that usually accompany periods, no mood swings, no unusual acne. I've never had any spotting, not during my pregnancy with my daughter or before or after periods. I did have a little for the first time in June when I had a stomach flu (no connection im sure, just bad luck ) So I dunno, did I get pregnant? Am I miscarrying? Is this some kind of hormonal screw up from stopping the Met? I see the doctor next tuesday so I guess i'll just wait, but my hypochondriac-itic self will go nuts over five days. Just wondering what ya'll think. Thank you!!!!!

It could be your AF trying to start. Brown blood is old blood. Let us know what the doctor says.

I think it is screwed up hormones. but you never know you could have gotten pregnant. poas

Also ask the dr for the xr form of met. That could help with the upset tummy.
