I have had a constant headache for about 2 weeks (started with full 1500 dose of met) My head hurts worse when I stand up and I am also very very very very (get the point) tired. Tired to the point to when I walk across the floor I get winded. I am also getting heart burn. Nausea not that bad and no diarrhea.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so how do you handle it and does it get any better.

I was experiencing the exact same symptoms. After six weeks of taking over my life, I called the doctor and he said my side effects should not be that strong after six weeks, so I stopped taking it. I had a constant headache, mood swings, DROWSINESS, and my husband and I were fighting like crazy because I was so mean! I hope all goes well for you!
I also had headaches from it, so I stopped taking it after a few weeks but I never followed up with my doctor about it. It always worried me that taking a diabetic medication would turn me into a diabetic! I know this sounds dumb, but I'm trying to find out if maybe I should get back on it after learning about the effects of insulin resistance.

The only symptom I've had since starting yesterday was a bad headache, but in the last hour or so I've started stomach discomfort. I think the headache is the Met.

Same here. Full 1500mg from the get go. Started them last week. Just now starting to deal with headaches. I have been taking tylanol. It definitely is helping. The tiredness is starting to go away. I actually had energy yesterday and today.

I have been reading everyones post here on headaches and tiredness and found one persons post about finding out she has a B Vitamin deficiency. I looked up met and B Vitamin deficiency and found this article http://www.aafp.org/afp/20040115/letters.html
As I started reading the different symptoms of Vitamin B12 deficiency I found that some people have headaches and heart burn and also suffer from anemia. I am going to try a B12 vitamin and see if this helps. It can't hurt.
