I'm from Dartmouth, and not diagnosed with PCOS-but have self diagnosed myself since doctors have not been able to figure it out.
What questions did you guys ask of your doctors to get answers?
Mine seem to beat around the bush and just send me for more bloodwork.
This has been going on for a year now, and I am at the end of my patience.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi ladies...
I'm in Ontario right now, but DH and i are planning to move to Sackville within the next year. I went to Pictou once. some kind of carnival. it was like a lobster fest.

Bluenoser, I would just tell your doctor that you insist on being seen by an endocrinologist and ask for a referral. If he wont agree to that, then ask for an ultrasound to detect cysts in your ovaries. Vag ultrasounds work the best. I was going to ask you girls what the doctor situation is like over there...are there many endocrinologists? we only have like one in my city and he was always sending me for blood work (telling me squat!) and every time i left there there was something else wrong with me and more pills to take. so i stopped going.

My ex lives in Sackville so I got to know it, Beford and Halifax fairly well. Very pretty Province and some day will get back there to explore more of it. Have been to Peggys Cove, Truro, Shubie and Stewiacke and also went camping up further but I can't remember the name of the place, I know Tatamagouche wasn't too far and nor was River John.. but anyway where we camped was really nice.
Just thought I would pop in and say that NS is a pretty area.
