Now I Lay Me...

Okay not completely sure where this one came from, but I have many friends that have lost their pregnancies... and well it just seemed appropriate to write this, specially since not too long ago someone I was close too lost their baby. So well here it is... I'm sure many many many people here can relate....

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the lord my soul to keep,

And I shall die before I wake,

On my way to heaven’s gate,

God wanted me before I grew,

Before the outside world I knew.

I know that you must be very sad,

But please toward god, don’t be mad.

I was blessed to have you,

You’re love is the only thing I knew.

Now I lay me down to sleep,

My soul shall never have to weep,

‘Cause all I remember is you’re love so deep.

That is a sweet variation of a traditional good night prayer.
