this happened to me as well. what changes did you make 4-5 months ago? did you stop taking the pill, for example?
my opinion: what it means is that your hormones are out of whack, as acne is essentially your skin reacting negatively to androgens. low-carbing _may_ help support getting your hormones balanced again and you should try it for a month to see if it helps you.
