Default npc = fertile mucus?!

I am hoping someone can help me. I had a chem pg at teh beg of this month and decided to see if I could ov naturally again with the intention of using npc in my luteal phase. Upshot is, I didn't ov (or at least my temps were just the usual rocky mountain pattern) and so decided to start npc 2 days ago. No I have ewcm! What should I do? Stop npc immediately and bd or continue and use npc withdawal to bring on af before trying again with soy as planned? Any help before my next npc dose is due would help! TIA

I'd say you haven't O'd yet, so perhaps stop the NPC and wait to see if you do O (and take it once your temp has been elevated for two days). Personally I found that it didn't actually do anything noticeable in the first month anyway (i.e starting or stopping it wouldn't have caused a withdrawal bleed because I hadn't got a high enough dose yet - I had to take it for 3 months to really show a difference). If you are only borderline low in progesterone it may work for you in the first month though, so it's a bit of a tricky question. I know it's 2 days late for me to answer this - what did you do??

Hi, thanks for the reply. I carried on using it but started bleeding two days ago - light but a flow. I decided to stop npc last night and have started soy today for 5 days as my temps are like the rocky mountains and tell me nothing! (Having said that I got no elevated temps when I was pg with my sone either!) Do you think this is a good idea? I intend to start npc post ovulation if I can detect one. Thanks again, Caroline
