I don't think I have ever ovulated in my entire life. This past cycle I started using NPC on days 15-28 and I noticed that on about cd17 my temps started to rise. I have been told that using NPC can make you have higher temps. So what I want to know is, how do I know whether I am truly ovulating or whether it is simply from using NPC?

The NPC can cause the rise in temps. It can also keep you from ovulating. So as long as you are using it you won't o. But during the days that you are not using it and you see your temps rise to another level then you have probably o'd.

Great, so I am going about this all wrong! I guess I shouldn't be using NPC until I am positive I am going to be having another annov cycle?

Thank you for setting the record straight about that, Tracy. I hate to think about all the time I would be wasting otherwise!
