NPC side effects....confused.

I really need some input on what to expect in terms of side effects from NPC. I've had a lot of mild cramping, as well as some tugging/pulling in the lower abdomen since O. I don't want to get myself all hyped up over a possible +hpt if these things are just from starting the NPC this cycle.

Any input is REALLY appreciated!

SO SORRY Ava!!

I haven't been at work (weekend, then was off on Monday). No pc at home, so I just haven't had the chance to update!

I don't know what to think! I started NPC on Thursday, and I'm thinking that I might be experiencing some side effects from that. I've had some real light cramping off and on during the day for the last 3-4 days. No nausea or anything like that. Don't wanna get my hopes up, so just trying not to think of it at all.

Please, keep me in your thoughts....I'll try to be better about updating this week! D-Day is this coming Monday....if I don't get AF, I'll have some hope for a +hpt.

I'm still trying to find out if I should keep up with the NPC after CD 27 if I think I may be pregnant. Let me know if you know of anything.

Secsll, everything I've read about NPC says NOT to stop taking it suddenly if you could be PG. That could cause a progesterone drop and a miscarriage. I'm no expert, but if it were me, I would keep using it until I started AF, or had a positive HPT.

As far as twinges, I've definitely noticed them, as I'm in my 3rd week of using NPC. (I'm using it days 5-28 for a 3 month shut down.) I also noticed a big improvement in my CM around when O could have occured. So it DOES work.

P.S. I would be careful about stopping suddenly with a + HPT, too. Perhaps Emannuelle or another Cyster who used it during their first 3 mo. of PG could give you more specific advice. I read a lot about it online before I started and read of several women who used it their first 3 mo. and tapered off in month 4 when the body makes a good amount of progesterone.

Well, I hate to get your hopes up, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and call "pregnant" Your temps look like you are. I'm not an expert and it may be too early to tell but the temps look like mine did when I was preg. And you describing the "tugging and pulling"........you may shoot me later if you find out different, but i think you are preg. I think scrap is right don't stop the NPC i've read that too that it can cause M/C. Anyway, maybe i'll catch you online and we can talk later. I'm praying for you...

Thanks for the feedback Scrap and Ava.....and Ava, girl, don't worry about getting my hopes up. Lord knows I've done that enough all on my own!

I'm psyching myself up not to be too disappointed if I test negative or get AF. I'm feeling better than I have in ages thanks to the herbs and NPC, so I'm not gonna let myself get all depressed if it hasn't all worked for me so quickly. Just pray for me that I continue to have some faith in all this and go with the flow. Whatever the outcome might be.

Scrap...good to know I'm not the only one "twinging". Other than the cramps, which seem to have stopped since Wednesday, all I've noticed is some VERY mild discomfort around what I'm assuming is my uterine "floor". You know, that line right about your pelvis? Maybe its all in my head....I've been keeping such close tabs on my body that I'm sure I've noticed things that have been goin on all along.

Ava..you're my ace girl...you've been a rock for me, and I sure do appreciate it. Hope everything is going great with Walker and try to take it easy today..no more cleaning!

Scrap..what about CM BEFORE O? I've had tons..no yellow stuff like some of the pregnant cysters describe in the early symptoms....just lots of creamy white (sorry if tmi). It started tapering off yesterday..but all this week theres been tons. Have you had this?

Well, AF is due on Monday...I'm trying to hold out and not test til then, if she doesn't show up. Its SO hard cuz I want to run out to the store and buy a test RIGHT NOW!!! I just figure, if I'm not pg then at least I'll have the next couple days hoping that I am...pathetic huh? lol.

Besides...I want to give myself the best chance at a ++++ that I can...so I'm gonna try to hold out.

Girl..you know you'll be the FIRST to know (well, besides my mama and Scott!)

AF is due today...she hasn't shown up yet so I went ahead and took a hpt....negative.

I'm trying not to get down about it...but I KNOW all my cysters know what I'm going through....the only reason I'm not home bawling right now is because I knew it would help for me to log on and share this with some people who I know understand.

Theres always next cycle....I guess. (sigh). I'm gonna stop using the NPC today...hopefully AF will either show tonight or tomorrow...I'm ready to get back on this horse before all the dismal thoughts start getting to me (I've already been thinking "why is it so hard for me?" and "I know I'll never get pregnant".

You guys are awesome...I love y'all so much. Thanks for the support.

Don't get down. YOU WILL GET PREG!!! have faith! i'm having faith for you and praying for you. Look on the bright side of things.
1st of all you are responding to au natural remedies. you are not having to got get poked and prodded every month to see if you are ovulating.
2nd your temps look great. i honestly don't think i've ever seen a more perfect temp chart. you had that "classic" little dip to indicate ovulation.

Here are some tips that my reproductive endocrinologist give me and dh when we were ttc. He made me take clomid on cd 3-7. It helped to make my cycles a little shorter and helped me o earlier. You might want to try taking the soy on those days. i'm not sure what day you are taking it now. He also told my DH that he--and I quote--"had a job to do on cd's 12-20 EVERY OTHER DAY." yep that is a lot of BMS but whatever it takes right?

Hang in there. Even in a normal person, all the conditions have to be just right in order for pregnancy to occur. We just have a few extra hurdles to jump in order to get preg but it will happen for you. Most of all, Remember that you have many friends here for you and we understand how you feel. I've been where you are at. I'm living proof that you can get preg. I'm praying for you. Keep the faith girl!!!
