Question NPC and Soy Iso

Hi ladies,
I was taking NPC in 14 day cycles for a few months, i stopped recently because I feel awfull and keep spotting and thinking that it's AF that's starting. I've been spotting now for over 3 weeks and have much pressure in my lower abdomen (feels like i'm carrying a bowling ball), also have abdominal tenderness, very lethargic, brain fog and back ache and i'm an emotional mess.
I was reading on another thread about taking Soy and it might bring AF on quicker.

My last period was a few years ago brought on by provera (will never take that again), my last natural period has to have been a decade or more ago.

Any thoughts on ditching the NPC and taking Soy instead?

I'm trying both this cycle. Remember that soy is used to induce ovulation, not just bring on AF. I took soy cd1-5 and am starting NPC on cd12 for as long as the product suggests. I wish I could tell you if it's going to work or not, but we'll have to wait and see since this is my first time trying any natural remedy.

The pp is right, Soy doesn't necessarily bring on af, it should help induce ovulation which in turn will bring on af about 2 weeks later if you didn't conceive. You can take Soy for 5 days at anytime in your cycle to start off. When I took Soy the first time it was cd26-30 and I ov'd on cd32. I'm planning on (when I get af in the next few days) taking Soy for cd3-7 and using npc from cd14 (or cd16 depending on my cm) for about 14 days, if no bfp then I will stop the npc. I just don't wish to do any more opk's and/or bbt charting and I know from past experience I usually ovulate between cd12-16 on Soy. hth.

Thanks for the replies.

Just one more question because i want to make sure i understand.
I have no idea what cycle day i'm on (like 800+). So can i just start anew and call today cycle day 1, take the Soy until day 5 and start the NPC on day 12?

If you already have npc I would just use it for 14 days (I think that's the recommended amount of time) to bring on af and then use the Soy cd3-7 or cd5-9 after you get af started. If you're just looking to kickstart a new cycle that's what I would do, with a cycle that long I'd want to start fresh with the Soy. hth.
