So I was just at the doctors with the nurse and I was filling in some forms. Whilst I was doing this Lola kept trying to grab the pen and paper off me so the nurse said to me "Shall I take her for you" so I handed Lola to the nurse. And then the nurse dropped her on her head. My poor baby screamed and screamed and all the nurse said to me was "oh sorry" whilst Lola was screaming the place down. She didnt even check her over or anything. She kist carried on with what she was doing before!
When I was leaving she said to me "if she goes all lethargic or anything bring her back in". This really pissed me off! She didnt even seem to care that my baby was screaming with pain and it was her fault! So I went and spoke to the practice manager afterwards about it.
I mean, I understand these things happen and it was a genuine accident but she could have dealt with it a whole lot better.
God, I am so pissed off about this!! My poor girl!!

As you said accidents can happen, but that was dealt with really badly.
I hope both you and Lola are ok. I know it can take as much out of the parents as the little uns when things like this happen

She seems fine so no real harm caused but I still am annoyed at how the nurse reacted in the situation. It was bugging me all last night... I could just see it happening again in slow motion and her little face as she was falling.
I guess I am lucky that she is ok and no damage done.

glad she had a good night, it's understandable that you were so stressed / annoyed about it. Thanks for letting us know how you both are this morning.

Sorry to hear that, I think you handled it pretty well. Poor Lola, their heads are very fragile, arghhhh. I hope this doesn't cause you to become reluctant at handing over your baby to someone to hold.

OMG That is really terrible Naomi, poor Lola. Have you had any joy from the practice manager? I would really persue it if I were you, that was beyond unprofessional the way that nurse acted.
I'm so sorry that happened, please keep us updated
