Jenny - I would do the yellow. You can take something from the bedding set to Lowe's, and they can color match the paint for you. That's what we did with the wallpaper border, and it looks really good.

I like the yellow too but think I might go with a light brown that's in the bedding..... LOVE the bedding btw. Cant' wait to see the finished nursery!

Jenny - great bedding set. I would personally install a chair rail and do the bottom section in the brown and the top section in that pale green color, but any of the colors in the set would go great.

And this is when we converted it to toddler bed shortly thereafter (he's now ia na twin bed and the room is Diego so we could still sue monkeys (and he loves "gogo")

Ahhh! I love it!!! I have collected monkeys since I was a little girl, and I want soooo badly to put them in the nursery. Thank you so much for sharing those pictures, there are a lot of great ideas there. If we have a boy, Im going to have to do the monkey thing. I wonder if there are monkey patterns for girls as well? I bet not!

I got the crib and changing table on craigslist for $100!! Nice huh? Do any of you go on craigslist? I love it. I mentioned I was looking for one for doing foster care, so they had it listed for $175 but they went down for me.
I don't have a boy crib set picked out yet. I like sports for a boy, but DH doesn't like soccer, so if he said that wasn't in there, he would love it. WTH? lol.. who cares.. men! And I normally don't like winnie the pooh stuff- clothes or bedding. But I love that bed set! When I saw it in the store I freaked! lol.

Jenny--our good friends have that set in their nursery and I LOVE IT. It is even more adorable in person. All the monkey sets are... now I wish I had another nursery to decorate...lol

I liked Cocalo's set b/c it wasn't so cutesy monkeys.. they were cute monkeys but not like comically cute ones... I dont particularly care for super cute... although Owen's bedding is teh FP Rainforest Set so its kinda cutesy BTU we wanted a monkey-like theme again, and since the stuff I liked was Rainforest (didnt exist when Hunter was born) we opted for matching bedding.
