Em, Ayden's room is ADORABLE!! Those colors are so nice! My Mom got me the Rainforest Waterfall Soother for Christmas...I put it up to my belly at night so the baby can hear. I love that thing! Our theme will be Rainforest, boy or girl!

Bree and Izy - I love your room! I'm having a boy, so girly stuff looks so fun.
I noticed you have a mobile on your crib, which has a curved side. Our's is very similar--how did you get it to attach?! Did you have to stuff anything next to it and the crib, or did it just fit? When we tried to put our mobile up, it kept leaning to one side or falling off. Let me know if you have any tips, or perhaps you just got lucky...
myrtle4- I had the same problem!! We got a crib with very cury sides but, the mobile wouldn't stay up. I actually got it to stay up for awhile but had to screw it on really tight to the point where it scratched the crib so, be careful of forcing it (luckily, they exchanged they strached piece of the crib for us!!) What we ended up doing was using a wall mount. You're supposed to take the mobile down from the crib mount after the baby is 5 months and can push up (because of strangultaion risk). With the wall mount, if you place it high enough, you can leave the mobile hanging till the baby is 18 months (so they say!) It looks really cute and we'll hopefully be able to use it a bit longer than we would have had we just attached it to the crib (18 months is a strech, I think!) Good luck!!
Here are some pics of our little boy's nursery!!!!!

Myrtle4: We too had to tighten in a tremendous amount and it had to be taken down when she could reach up because she could pull it off if she wanted. They say that they wear out their usefulness at around 6 months and I think that's about accurate. I wouldn't put anything small there that the baby could get... use baby wash cloths or felt i.e moleskin so it makes it tighter and wont scratch. (it will scratch though so be careful.
Sadie: thanks!
