Ohhhh, I love looking at all your nurseries. I love the elephants and the aquatic theme especially. Emily, of course I like yours with the animals! How exciting!

Here are some of baby Michael's nursery. We still aren't quite finished, still need his letters for the wall over the crib and a few other decorations for the walls. I just threw the bedding on to see what it will look like. The crib skirt and hamper still need to be steamed, you can tell they are so wrinkled! Also we are waiting for the right knobs for the dresser and changing table. They are suppose to all be white and match of course. So far I just love it! Turned out exactly the way I wanted it! DH did a great job! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Thank you Emily! I just loved those light and airy colors and the frogs will hopefully stay with him for atleast 2-3 years. That is until he wants sports or dump trucks! Which is fine with me too! I just figured why not do a nursery with the light colors now only b/c with a boy I will be dealing with the primary red/blue/green forever! And Jenn...I was looking at your closet picture and I see you have the same footie outfit that I do with horses on the feet. Its one of my favorites! I forgot to tell you too that I LOVE your furniture--especially your changing table.

acrowe - Thank you! I just had to have the toy bag! DH was like what the heck do we need that for??? LOL I was like for decoration of course! I love that little outfit too! I got it as a shower gift! Too cute!
anichols - Thank you! Everyone kept turning their noses up at me when I said I was doing a boys room with white furniture. Most people said white furniture is for girls! I think it turned out really nice!
I can't wait to see what idea's other people have or have done! Its so exciting to me!

We are having a boy and doing white furniture too! I think it looks great! The sad thing is we have paneling in the room that is going to be the nursery and we have to take it all down and we are putting up sheetrock so it will be a little bit still before we get started. Wah. Ok I say we I really mean dh is going to do it...lol! I will do the decorating but he won't let me do anything else. I am not even allowed to carry a laudry hamper into the laundry room. he is so super sweet and protective though.

HI MOMMIES-TO-BE!!!! I have enjoyed looking over your nursery pics and they are ALL so adorable, many ideas I have never seen or thought of - SOOOO CUTE!!! I only hope & pray that I can be in your shoes someday, posting my own nursery pics! As of now, my "nursery" sits empty with nothing but a disassembled baby crib, just waiting to be put together. I am the last one in my family of Fertile Myrtles TTC so the crib was brought to my house a couple years ago when I began TTC. I just assumed I would be like everyone else in my family and get pregnant as soon as I decided I was ready for a baby . . . NOPE! I was WRONG!! Thanks for posting the pics, I enjoy dreaming of what my own may look like someday! Best wishes & blessings to all you lovely Mommies-to-be!!

~Shana0923- I have done a lot of housepainting jobs/murals and we were we asked to do my sis's nursery for my nephew they had wood paneling too!! They were gone for the weekend so we had an idea of what my sis wanted and she had already bought the border - so it was like a 'While You Were Out'/'Surprise By Design' kinda thing!! We put a tinted primer directly over the paneling and then painted the walls a baby blue going back in later to add big fluffy white/bluegrey clouds. I even snuck a face into one of the clouds over the crib - the "cloud face" has an open mouth like he is blowing wind or something - very cute!! It turned out GREAT & they loved it!! Now that my nephew is 3 he talks all the time about how much he loves his bedroom!! I just thought I'd offer that as a suggesstion since removing paneling can be a pain & quite costly!!! I have done SEVERAL jobs for people painting over paneling(it has always turned out fabulous!)- a lot of people just don't realize that it can be done!! HECK you can even paint & prime over wallpaper and it is not noticable at all as long as the seams were done nicely in the first place & there are no tears. Best wishes to you on your pregnancy & on getting that nusery prepped!!
