My Mood: Points: 1,863.14 Bank: 0.01 Total Points: 1,863.15 | Kinnie- I too was the last out of a family full of fertile myrtles! Even my younger cousins have all the kids they are going to have. I have 18 nephews and neices and the youngest one is 5 years old. It was so hard watching all these babies being born and we were always left wanting. PCOS is a devil of a thing to deal with and I understand your position very well. I have already added you to my prayer list as I do pretty much all the people I meet! I went through 6 doctors to get to the one I am at now and it took 5 months with this doc and we were pg because he would actually listen. Just keep strong and keep trying because it can happen and does all the time. I know one thing. I will NEVER take my child for granted like so many parents do. Each and every moment of his life will be cherished. I know you will feel the same way one day.
About painting the paneling, we actually did paint it a khaki color but I think it is the lines in it that drive me crazy!! We have paneling through the whole house and are replacing it all eventually anyway so it is just starting in the nursery. But I have seen many people paint the paneling and it looks good.

~JillMarie, Did you conceive first son Nathan while taking Synthroid?? Just curious, because I have had some people tell me I will never get preg. while taking Synthroid(Hashi's/Hypo)that I need to switch to Armour - but my RE hasn't told me to switch & the dose of Synthroid I am taking now is what finally got my TSH levels back to normal. BTW, I love the nursery wall painting - that's just FUN!!!! ~acrowe, A To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.THANKS for your kind words!! I surely hope I get to decorate my nursery soon! I am CD27 & had just given up hope, considering this cycle a BUST. BUT a Cyster on another board told me she didn't O 'til CD 30 last cycle and I have been looking(yes obsessing AGAIN!!) at some charts this morning with VERY late Os and BFPs! SO I better get back to BDing again, I may not be totally out just yet for this cycle! You're almost there Mommy- Best wishes to you on your pending bundle O' joy!! ~Shana0923, THANKS so much for that! You ladies are awesome & I really appreciate all the kindness, even though I am kind of an outsider and not an official member of the gang since I have no bun in the oven! Do you mind me asking what was it that got you your BFP - was it Met alone or did you add meds??? I REALLY appreciate your prayers, you have no idea! Since I have had so many people praying for me, my mood alone has improved tremendously! Someone must be praying for God to give me peace & comfort me during this difficult time because he does so on a regular basis!! I do still have moments of despair and much frustration, that has to be normal, but I am nothing compared to what I was before I enlisted a ton of women to pray for me!!! THANKS again for being such a sweetheart and I will be thinking of & praying for you, DH, & baby Blaze!! Take care of yourself! ---OH YEAH, much luck to you with putting up the drywall! I have done it before and am getting tired just thinking about you & DH doing it!LOL! I hope I never have to do that agian! We'll be painting soon & putting down new floors, done that before too, and I am NOT looking forward to it!! WOW!! MORE NURSERY PICS!!! Love the planes Emma! I used Met and Femara to get pregnant. It worked on the second cycle and several years ago I did 6 failed cycles of Clomid which I thought was going to kill me. That stuff has horrible side effects, or at least it did for me.

That is why I hang out @SC so much, because I can NOT get this much love and support from any friend or family member I have, they just can't possibly understand and frankly don't even try to! They have never listened so I don't even talk about TTC with them anymore unless I am asked! Of course I talk to DH about it, but not so much anymore, he was catching on to how obsessed I was/am!LOL!!! I just try to seduce him these days so he won't even think I am trying to catch the egg! I found out that it was putting a ton of performance pressure on him, if you know what I mean! He is wonderful & so supportive of me and all I have gone through. He is my biggest cheerleader - next to my Cysters of course!!! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
YIPPPPPPEEEEEEE! To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. I am so glad to hear that you conceived with Femara and Met. I don't remember if I mentioned, but I have a prescrip. for that, just wanted to try Met alone first! I will be taking Femara and being monitored after the end of my next cycle, that is if no BFP in the meantime. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Also we'll have to get DHs SA done - YIKES - I know he doesn't want to do that!! My RE hasn't mentioned doing an HCG trigger shot, but I have seen several women around here who get the shot along with Femara. Did you get any trigger type shot - or was it just the Femara alone and monitoring(follie scan, bloodwork). Hey, THANKS again for chatting with me, I appreciate it To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. -though I SHOULD be working!!LOL!! Thanks so much for your kind words AND prayers, what a sweetie!!

My Mood: Points: 1,863.14 Bank: 0.01 Total Points: 1,863.15 | Kinnie- I did not get a trigger shot or have any monitoring through my cycle. I used opk's 2 times a day from day 10 and when I got a positive I used them 3 times a day for 5 more days. The cycle I got pregnant I had positives 3 days in a row. We bd'd every other day from day 10 till positive and every day for 5 days then back to every other day. Hmmm, maybe I was a little obsessive too...lol! I also temped at the same time every morning which helped me know when things happened I guess or to prove to myself the positive opk's were not a dream. I o'd the first cycle too but didn't catch it. Just always remember to make it fun. the first month on it everything became so mechanical and dh had performance problems because of that so we had a lot of fun the next cycle and everything worked. I was totally shocked when it worked so fast as we had been together 12 years and had one loss in 99. We were already making plans for the next steps and just didn't need them. thank God! Definately use the Femara it is so worth it. Good luck and if you ever need to talk just pm me as I think we have high jacked this thread...oops! I will give you my email if you want it too. By the way is that your dog in your avatar? American Bulldog? Just wondering.

Bulldog - can't believe you recognized that -everyone thinks she is a dalmation!!?!?!? That is so great to hear about your BFP magic ingredients. My RE said most of his PCOSers get PG within the first 2 cycles of using Femara. I am not the richest woman on the planet and my insurance covers nothing, so he told me I could just skip the Follie scans & take the Femara CDs 5-9 and use my CBEFMonitor to look for O, then come in after to confirm O with bloodwork. I thought about getting some OPK sticks to use after my monitor because the monitor is about to call for the last test stick tomorrow and I STILL have not O'd yet as of today CD27! Since there is a chance that I still may O, just late, I will need to pick up some OPKs ASAP & POAS.LOL!! How about that you have been married 12 years tooo -Huh??? My 12yr. anny is May 19th! She is about 120 pounds and the sweetest and smartest dog I have ever seen. yes I am a southern gal too...lol! I can talk to just about anyone, that must be a southern thig too, ya know where you stand at the door saying goodbye for an hour.
I o'd both cycles with it on cd18. I would definately use the opk's to as I have heard things about the monitors not doing good for women who ovulate late.
We haven't been married 12 years but we have been together almost 13 years now (september) but our 7 year anniversary is July 6th. We waited a long time before we got married. i wanted to make sure I was happy as I really do believe marriage is forever. In some situations obviously.
