Just a heads up though that it wasn't cheap. Our nursery is fairly large and I ended up buying like $180 worth of polka dots..... I used most of what I bought too. It looked like a lot when they came but I think I only have like 8-10 extra polka dots.

I just like that idea---we are not planning on painting either. The nursery is already painted a nice, light yellow, which I think will work well for a boy or a girl...we will just decorate according to what the sex is. Its a fairly small room as well so we might not need as many dots.

WOW!! You scored! That is awesome. Ive not been able to find any nice used furniture around here. I check craigslist all the time but I never find a thing that I would be willing to pay for!

I got the glider for $22. LOL. I just find good deals I guess. I went to a flea market type place for the changing table, a church consignment sale for the glider and got the dresser off of ebay for $71 (I had to refinish it). We bought the crib new though. Craigslist stuff is generally overpriced in my area. They want almost what the stuff costs new...and I am not willing to pay that much for used.

Hey ladies, I finally got the time to post pics of what we've got done to Layla's room.

We still have to do something with the window, the metal closet doors, and the carpet. I think my mom's going to buy us new carpet for the room since it's only a 9x9' room! Here's what we have so far...(notice the fat cat on the changing table)
