Default Nutritionist help

So I met with a nutrionist yesterday and I have to say it was not exactly the most productive meeting I've been too. She basically gave me a sheet and said I need to watch my cards, but that I can anything I want. I guess I should have said somewhere that I am IR. I went into this meeting hoping to have a suggested list of what to eat for snacks or such and then what not to eat.

What type of things have your nutritionists done for you?
Any help would be great!

Nothing. I was supposed to go to a group session but skipped out as they were only going to discuss the food guide, perils of overweight and portion control. All of it I know. I have found that in the past nutritionist and dieticans rarely stray from the 'normal' path.

IR diet is a good book to look at. It helped me when I was looking at safe foods.
