Hi ladies, I was wondering if you could help me out. I started the Nuvaring last week. It seemed like it was fine. Then, I started to feel a little different. My whoo-ha isn't feeling so great. It is mostly itching, with only the tiniest burning. Now, I don't think I have a yeast infection because there is no discharge. I was wondering if this could be a side effect. I know you can take it out for 3 hours without affecting it.
What do you think? Should I take it out for a bit and see if that helps? Or do you think it wouldn't leave enough time to change anything.
When I was on it, I never had a problem like that but maybe take it out and rinse it off with some water then put it back in -- Sorry you are having issues with it. Take care

You know I just did some research on the nuva ring as I am trying to find another alternative and I found a websit that listed pro cons etc and it said one of the CONS of the NUVA RING was that it could cause Yeast Infection and Bacterial Infection but it would stop once you body adjusted. I would call the dr or the nurse and let them no what is going on....

Rozlynn - I tried that and it seemed to make it better!! I was so happy!! I didn't even think of that, thanks.
coffeequeen - I think if it happens again, I am definately going to call. I am hoping that I will eventually get used to it, because I really like not taking a pill everyday (even if I have to shell out 50 bucks a month!)
Aww your very welcome sweetie - Glad it worked for you
