Default NYC area with no insurance

Hi, I'm new here. I haven't yet been diagnosed but have known for quite awhile there was a problem but never looked into it. My big problem is that I have no health insurance and don't even know where to start looking to get a diagnosis or treatment. I have been to general clinics for other health issues and asked about some of the symptoms (mainly very excessive facial hair and unstable weight) but never got much help. I'm approaching 26 and feel like I have to get this under control, but don't know where to start. I was hoping someone out here may have had a similar issue, or a reccommendation for a clinic or an affordable doctor (sliding scale, payment plan, whatever). Thanks!

the main treatment for pcos is BCP's and you can get this through planned parenthood. they should be able to offer you additional options. my sister is in college and she was able to get help with her pcos through planned parenthood.
