Default O? I don't know?!

Good Morning Everybody!

So, here's my dilemma....maybe it's just that I'm very impatient...
Anyhow, How do you know if you Ovulated? Are there any other "symptoms" of ovulating to look out for?
I took an HCG shot Thursday evening, On Thursday, my follies were 17mm, and 2 15mm, with a bunch of 14 and 13s real close to those ones. I went in for an IUI yesterday which went well.
But, I didn't have any pain or anything when "ovulating". (Although my ovaries hurt all day after the IUI) Does the HCG shot ensure that you ovulate? I know my follies weren't super mature, does that mean they may not be able to O? Do they continue to grow even after you take the HCG shot?

And, My husband had a sperm count done before the IUI, the count was 37.1million, with 94% motlity and they swim straight....does this increase the chances of getting pg?

Thanks for your guys help! I have a 2WW and I think it may drive me crazy.

Yes, the trigger will force you to ovulate even if the eggs weren't fully mature. It is unlikely your doctor would have triggered you if he/she felt you weren't ready. Your husband's count is in your favor. I hope for the best for you.

The only way to know quickly whether or not you O is take your BBT every a.m. throughout the month. You will see a clear temp shift when you ovulate. Now that it's too late for that, you'll have to wait until 7 days past "suspected" O date and go to the doc to have your P4 (progesterone) level drawn. That will give you not only a yes or no answer, but the higher the number, the better the egg quality and the higher your chances of getting PG.
