Points: 20,005.63 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 20,005.63 | I seem to have had something like that on Clomid this cycle, but it was like a week of being extremely aware of my ovaries (they were sore, hurty) and then it went away after I Ov'ed. Not exactly "Ov pain", more like "pre-Ov pain," but close, lol.

O pain can vary greatly from woman to woman. It can occur before, during or after ovulation, so it is sometimes hard to determine that's what it actually is. For me, it is a very distinct pain and pressure feeling that lasts a couple hours and then is gone. The pain is so bad that it makes it hard to function for those few hours, I've actually gone home from work because of it. Mine always happens on the day of O.

My Mood: Points: 7,478.71 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 7,478.71 | I o'd this cycle, and I had an ultrasound the day before and after, so I know exactly what day it happened.
I woke up at 2 in the morning and felt a sharp but not too painful cramp in my abdomen. I said, holy cow, that's my O. Then I said, in my head, because DH would think I'm crazy. "Let me feel this pain, go eggie go!" To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Points: 20,005.63 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 20,005.63 | Looking at your temps, I'd say it's to early to tell... give it a few more days. The temp rise today is a good sign but definitely not definitive.
I hope it is Ov though.
Best wishes.

Points: 4,982.36 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 4,982.36 | Im currently on CD18, took clomid from CD5-9. However I have been getting what I think to be ovulation pain since friday. Its quite painful, very similar to period pain. Does it sound like O pain or should I bee a bit worried and contact my doctor. I am not being monitored so I am a little worried. It seems to have backed off today but not completely gone. |

My Mood: Points: 8,861.30 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 8,861.30 | I'm currently on cd 14. Right now my right ovary is hurting (I only know it's my ovary cause it's the exact spot the nurse pushed on at my appointment last week when she was checking my ovaries). I'm trying not to think about it too much, cause the chances of me o'ing this cycle are very slim. The only thing about this cycle is that I was on proverra before my AF. Is it possible that induced an O? Since I'm not on clomid or anything like that and my cycles are so funky, I haven't been keeping track of my temps or anything like that.
Anyway, it's just a sharp achy pain. We'll see in a few weeks if it was an o. That'd be cool. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

My Mood: Points: 1,886.51 Bank: 218.00 Total Points: 2,104.52 | I also think I had O pain for the first time ever this cycle, since I had a follicle scan on cd 21 and the dr also did an abdominal u/s since he was having trouble seeing my left ovary, so I know where my ovaries are, and a few days later on cd 24 I woke up at 4am with these sharp, stabbing pains on both sides where my ovaries are, they lasted a few minutes and then went away. Also, that night and the following morning my OPKs were ALMOST positive, the darkest the line has ever been for me, so I'm considering it an O and should test this Friday to find out if we caught the eggie!
