Hello PCOS sisters! My DH and I are heading to Ireland tomorrow -- we've been dreaming of coming over there for years and are SO excited for our vacation.

My 1st question is: We hit Dublin on July 21 - 23. Is the Guiness Brewery tour worth it or a tourist trap? We do love our Guiness, but don't want to waste time and/or money on tourist traps. Any other must-see suggestions there?

2nd Q: Anyone have travel hints (that are the typical) or tips (or pubs to suggest) in the following cities: Kilkenny, Killarney (Ring of Kerry, of course), Dingle, Doolin, Somewhere in the Galway vacinity - any suggestions? and anywhere in between! We are getting in our rental car and driving and ending up whereever we land in 10 days. Yipee!!!

So, now, all I have to do is pack...my tweezers, Provera, acne medicines, pads & tampons --just in case my first period in years begins. Who would have thought that I would be praying for a period on my dream vacation?!?! All PCOS joking aside, I can't wait to visit your beautiful countryside!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I missed your post too

I hope you enjoyed my country. However, I would be interested in your thoughts and views of your visit here.

The scenery in Kerry and Clare is just gorgeous. I love going to Kerry myself. Have yet to do the Ring though.

I am sad to say that Ireland has become very very expensive. We are pricing ourselves out of the market but can you tell the powers that be - not a hope!.

I really hope you enjoyed your trip!
