Thanks for posting. The celebrity one catches me eye, I dunno why as the whole 'celebrity thing' annoys me. I guess you hear alot about these 'faddy' diets and wonder if they really do work when you see it plastered over the magazines....

I wonder if Welcome To Fatland is a repeat... it's says NEW in my TV Guide but a programme from the same resort has been shown before back in 2005 and again this year + I saw it in Sweden in the summer which I found funny...
I will watch it again though since I turned down the opportunity to take part!
I spent two hours talking to the researcher of the show Emma and they offered me a place, at the same time I got offered my new exciting new job at the council. Whilst I was happy to ask my new employers for time off, the production team wanted to film me in my new role kind of focussing on a new start as at the time I had been out of work for some months.
I realised whilst I was happy to take part in the show, I didn’t want to make a prat of myself and be filmed at work in a brand new job so in the end I said no!
I really like Morgan Spurlock's "Supersize Me". It's a good documentary and avoids tabloid sensationalism and just raises so many interesting points about the role and effect the fast food industry and food choices plays in our lives. It's US based, but a lot of the basic points transfer to the UK.
Has anyone seen that 'Can Fat Teens Hunt?' programme? I haven't watched it on principle - the whole idea seems really insulting and as if it's just an excuse to poke fun.
It's as though overweight people are one of the last groups society can have a good laugh at but as I said, I haven't seen it so shouldn't be so quick to judge....
I think I seen that it on last night but I didnt watch it either. I think that this is a stupid reality style TV you send some over weight kids into the jungle to live with a tribe and then expect them to survive in jungle conditions.
