My kids are always impressed how when Simon opens his mouth he says word for word what I just shouted at the telly, as the hopeful was *singing*. Simon's my favourite - but I don't think he's as hard on the contestants as people think he is, as he genuinely doesn't judge people on looks alone. I think it's a great format for that type of show, too, as it has that element of competition between the judges, as well as the contestants. I thought sharon had the worst category last year. And I think Rowetta was robbed. She was way and above my favourite contestant!

i LOVE this program especially sharon shes so funny but then so is simon i jst love watching peopel make a fool out of themselves lol especially when they r really bad but they think they are brilliant lol

I'm looking forward to this, I loved the last series. I think Simon is my favourite, I used to like Sharon but I went off her by the end of the last series.

I can't wait for it to start tonight! There's a program on ITV2 aswell called 'what tabby did next' Looking forward to that too, it's on straight after the X Factor... I loved the last series, Sharon Osbourne is my def my fave judge!
Aww that Tabby programme was very sweet. He really does seem lovely and I like his style/music etc., so I hope he does well He deserves it He was cute talking to Rod Stewart ey?! I am a sucker for the Sligo accent too, when I visited there I was just like awww @ everyone's voice lol >> muppet!
X-Factor annoyed me alot. I think they messed up the editing. Did anyone watch Xtra Factor? They showed the same contestants but singing different songs but with the same comments so that just shows what a bloody conn the whole thing is. ppfffffffffff.

I noticed that also. I was swearing blind with my partner that some where singing different songs,(he thought I was away with the fairies) and he's like they couldnt have been. Like when that really cute guy that Sharon commented on, on IVT1 he sang an Elton John song, then on ITV2 he sang something completely different. Very weird indeed and to have the same comments about it afterwards.
I agree, that 16year old laddy was unbelievable. What a grown up voice he had, it was like listening to someone 20 years older than he actually is.
I also watched most of the Tabby programme, he's a wee hunk. I so hope he makes it. I voted for him to win last year.
