Default OB/GYN in Philly

I need one that has their own u/s machine. I don't like the idea of going back and forth between the ob and the hospital for an u/s. Any suggestions???

Hey Lina! I need an OB too, so I'm posting here. Specifically looking for a high-risk peri because of 2nd trimester loss last July.

Hey hun, have thought of Drexel?? You can email them at Sandra.Wolf@DrexelMed.edu. This is where I went to see my frist RE Dr. Minnassian. I thought of them the other day. Because I know they have ob services there and a clinic w/ midwifes. They also have a high risk... you can see them here...

Thanks, Lina! Right now I'm leaning between Lankenau and Abington (I've confirmed that both have ante-partum units) but don't have a particular OB/peri in mind. As I said, I had a bad experience with a hospital with no antepartum unit and even if the doctors were really good, the nurses and staff were not knowledgeable of my situation (hospital bedrest) and it did not end well.

I hope someone can give more info about Drexel, their website is a little sparse about their high-risk practice.

Yes, she is very nice and answered all of my DH's questions. Will definitely consider them but will look at other clinics she also recommended. If not for my history and if I'm not expecting multiples, would probably go with them but I'll look at other options first before choosing them now.
