I had made a post requesting any type of doc in pittsburgh pa, originally, and although I got no replies, I checked out another post. I saw a few people suggested Buonocore. So I took the suggestion, and apparently her appointments are backed up till November. I got put on the cancellation list, and everything, but that is way too long for me wait. My body is full on out of whack, and I dont know exactly what to do.

The lady at the office suggested I find an OB/GYN to do the testing, before hand, to smooth things along, and I may find someone who can help me faster. My OB/GYN is a complete incompetent. He suggested, without any testing at all, that I go on BCP, and that would clear up EVERYTHING. I'd lose weight, my facial hair would thin, and most importantly I would get my period. At first I didn't know what to say, till I came home and actually looked up the information on PCOS. I have no plans on returning, the guy made me feel uncomfortable, and didn't offer anything to be done.

If anyone could help. I would greatly appreciate it. I just need a PCOS intelligent doctor, who is going to run some tests. Just so I can get these answers.

Dr Kim Pierce is not a OB/GYN but she is the one who helped me to get my PCOS under control. She is a sweet person and listened to everything that I said. She was really patient when I cried in her office and was very reassuring. She is located in Magee Hospital.
