I know someone taking Zoloft to deal with GAD, Depression, and OCD that goes along with the GAD. I believe several of the SSRIs are approvided for treatment of OCD.

They are, but I have taken nearly all of them, and Zoloft was the best one, and was great when I was single, but uh, I have really bad sexual dysfunction on it.
Maybe meds are out in general. What do I do to control these thoughts? Is there a connection between OCD and PCOS? Will I get better as I treat my PCOS symptoms?
Exercise and meditation can help. There's a book called The Relaxation Responsethat is recommended. Also, cognitive behavior therapy can be helpful in controling compulsive thoughts and/or behaviors.
Treatment of PCOS should effect your hormones and that will effect your OCD. There's no way to know how much of a difference it will make, though.
My psychiatrist recommeded Omega-3 for treatment of depression and anxiety. I'd think it would also improve OCD since those are all linked. There are probably other natural remedies, but be careful since they aren't regulated.

I have OCD, have done since my teens but I don't take medication for it, once did use an AD but it did very little to help it. I tend to go through manic phases of OCD then it can dissappear which in a way I prefer because I can somewhat feel normal when the OCD does not affect me, although it never goes away on a permenent basis just kind of hovers in the background.
I have OCD. I take Lexapro, but I have found that actual therapy has been more helpful than any medication.

i've always heard that therapy is more effective for ocd treatment than medication alone, though meds may mitigate its effects.
as to whether or not correcting your hormones will correct your ocd; i'm not sure. i'm thinking it might help alleviate some of the symptoms just because out-of-whack hormones mean out-of-whack mood and anxiety. your psychiatrist can probably best answer this question for you.
