Jen-I said it on the other thread, but I'm sorry the sperm count was not good. But sometimes the cycles you are expecting to be a bust end up surprising you. I once did a clomid cycle with my old RE and I wasn't responding, my follies never got big enough. I was told I would need to move to injects next cycle and that cycle ended up with a surprise BFP. That was my angel baby that would have been due this Oct. 7. So you never know what can happen. My lovenox arrived in the mail today for my upcoming cycle. Here's to being human pin cusions! (But so worth it if it makes our babies stick!)
Jen - ditto to what Stacy said. Plus, you may think your right ovary isn't the good one, but maybe it's the right one that will make the embie that will stick.
Stacy - I'm joining the pin cushion club too! (Hey, it's a good name for a thread!)
Do you know the rationale for starting the Lovenox at o-time? My RE and hematologist want me to start it with a BFP? I can't say I'm that worried about starting with a BFP since my m/cs weren't early ones, but I'm wondering if I should be doing it.
Diana - Is PTL pre term labor? Sorry you have an infection but I hope the chocolate is helping!
3 hour IVF class is tomorrow. I think I'm starting to get excited. I just keep thinking about how many embies I would want to put back (assuming, of course, that we get lots of good ones - huge fear that we end up with none).

Stacy - as I'm starting all the IVF injections soon, I'm definitely going to be part of that club!
I really need to find a new hematologist and get their opinion on starting the Lovenox before BFP. Truth is that I have it in the house and can start whenever I want really, but I want to be monitored by a hematologist I trust and I just don't like the guy I've been using.

Melissa-I think starting the lovenox early sounds like a good idea. I know Dr. Kwak's protocol is to have her patients start it CD6, if BFN and AF arrives, stop it during AF and then start again CD6 next TTC cycle. Her belief is something along the lines of it helps with blood flow to the area of the uterus where implantation occurs. But if you aren't happy with your hematologist you may as well get a new one regardless. I joined a reproductive immunology yahoo group and a lot of those ladies are on lovenox. It's a really active group so that might be a good place to ask for recommendations of hematologists in your area that believe in starting lovenox early. Or you could always ask your RE to refer you to someone else. GL!
Started to really feel down yesterday. My EDD was supposed to be 10/28..........

I'm kind-of numb. I'm CD11 or 12 and had a BFP this morning, with a CB digital. It's my third BFP this year. So I was happy, then anxious, then just numb. One moment at a time, huh?
I've been working with a counselor. I've been trying to go one day at a time, not letting the big picture scare the snot out of me. So I concentrate on what I'm doing that day ("grow follicles", etc). So today I'm supporting my lining and sending good vibes to whatever is growing there. That's enough.
And Jen, we only had 7 million sperm this IUI. No matter the outcome, even with low #s, some must get through.
