Default off and on

Mine is really odd. I can go for weeks barely plucking my chin, then go through a phase where I have to really get at it every day. I noticed since dropping weight that the hair growth has really really slowed down. (I'm down about 14lbs) Hopefully this is a trend.

I hope it is a trend for you too

I wonder if it is diet related - such as the more insulin you release, the worse the hair? I noticed a slowing down when I changed my diet and lost weight.

My sister has a real struggle with her weight -- currently she weighs about 225 lbs (at 5'2"). I don't think she has PCOS (? not sure ? -- she's past menopause now, but she never had any problem with her cycle before then, has always had beautiful clear skin and a very curvaceous figure)

Anyway she does get a bit of a moustache and some chin hairs (never noticed/looked for it, but she says she does) -- and she also said that if she loses weight, the facial hair totally disappears. (she managed to get down to 125 about 7-8 years ago, and she said the hair disappeared. Over the years, the weight has come back, and so has the hair)
