Unhappy Off BCP's - is this normal?

After being miserable on Kariva(generic Mircette), my dr advised me to stop taking it after only about a week. He suggested that we wait until I see AF again & then we'll try something else. I couldn't take the depression, nausea and fatigue that hit so quickly and with such force.

So I stopped 2 days ago & I'm having a constant ache in the area of my right ovary, which is rather uncomfortable. It's not the stabbing pain I'd associate with a cyst rupturing, so I'm curious as to what it is. I don't usually feel like this prior to AF.

Is it normal for your ovary(ies) to hurt after you go off bcps? Or am I just the lunatic I'm sure my dr. believes me to be?
