Ok ladies...heres the deal...

I was on Actos in 2000 and when DH and I got married in 2001 we wanted off the actos so we could ttc.....so I got on Gluc XR for six months and had the horrible side effects of the trots and bad stomach issues....so I got off that and the dr. put me on Insulin in order to ttc.

Well, I've only been on Actos for 2 days...and haven' seen my levels below 160 yet...they haven't been too high, however I haven't seen them as low as they were with Insulin....Should I give it longer??

I got off insulin because I wasn't losing weight and knowing that I lost weight and felt great on Actos, I thought i would try it again. So far I'm feeling tired. I know i should probable give it time....but I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing. Should I still be on Insulin and combine insulin with the Actos....my dr. told me I could do either or.....but he says realistically he didn't think the actos would work to help lose weight because it usually makes people gain (even though I lost a few year ago) I'm feeling beat up and defeated help!!
