Default Officially diagnosed...

I have been suspecting that I have PCOS for about 6 months, but I finally changed insurances to a PPO, went to a great doc, and figured out that I have PCOS.

I have two questions for YOU guys:

1 - How did you know that you were an insulin resistant PCOS'er?

2 - Yaz isn't working for me anymore... my new doc wants to try Desogen. Please, if anyone out there is on Desogen, let me know how it is and if it works??

My two biggest concerns and a single lady - facial hair growth, and head hair loss. SUCH a bummer.

Congrats on the diagnosis! It's such a relief, isn't it?

I'm sorry I can't help re: Desogen, I've not tried it. You might want to post that in one of the other forums, it's more likely to get a constructive response there than in a newbie thread.
