Default OGTT Results... Opinions?

I had an OGTT today, and the metered glucoses that went with the lab draws were as follows. I know that there's a margin of error for the meter, but still... any thoughts?

Fasting: 110
30 min: 167
1 hr: 211
2 hr: 100
3 hr: 70

From what I've read, the fasting, the 30 minute, and the 1 hour are all abnormal, but the 2 and 3 hour are fine. So, I'm assuming that this still suggests that there's a problem, right?

Not necessarily. I've always understood that if your levels are normal by the 2hr mark you are fine. When I had my ogtt at the 1 hr reading it was 265, 1 1/2 mark it was 235 and 2 hr mark 165. I was dx as type 2.

Was this test performed at a lab?

The fasting glucose test alone is in the prediabetic range. At the very least it would seem that you're insulin resistant.

It was performed at the endocrine lab at the local hospital. They just also did glucometer readings at the same time as the lab draws. My PCP called and told me that nothing's wrong, but truthfully, I don't think they could find a hole in the ground with two hands and a flashlight. I had the results sent to the RE for my appointment at the end of the month.

Thanks!
