So, I have a mustache and beard, hairy arms, and i wont talk about what you cant see! Now I look down and I find like 25 dark hairs in between my boobs, so I say to myself, "self, I am not going to pluck them, even though I am obsessed with plucking." Now I have noticed a COURSE BLACK HAIR on top of my boob, like on top of the cleavage, like could be seen with a low top. I trying with all my might not to pluck it, when my chin started it was only one hair, and i plucked it, and plucked it, and now i have the full blown beard that i am still plucking and plucking. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, this hair thing is makin me nuts!

I am so sorry...it's always disheartening to find new 'crops' popping up. It's so frustrating.
Have you had your testosterone, free androgen, DHEA's and Androstenedione tested? The first two are male hormones and the last two CONVERT easily to male hormone, so they can be elevated if your male hormones are 'normal'. A lot of information is showing that even if these come back at the high end of normal is almost always considered 'elevated'. They can be lowered with medication, so I would talk to your Dr.
Take care!

My doctor diagnosed me with PCOS, told me to take my BC, and gave me this website, all my "male" hormone levels are elevated along with my cholesterol, the Endo. has said that he will consider meds. when I lose some weight because he thinks if I would just get the 40lbs off that i gained in a year that will help most! I am confused about the whole process now!

I would get a another opinion, Ry. If your Dr's are content to just throw BCP at you without any consideration of treating the root cause, they are using protocol from 1970, and that's poor medicine.
The bottom line is, if you are PCOS and Insulin Resistant, you will have trouble losing the weight until you get medication to help your body use insulin better. Excess insulin is stored as fat, and you'll be fighting an uphill battle if your body is IR and over-producing. I was on meds, did the IR diet and exercised and it still has taken me almost 3 years to lose 58 pounds.
Your symptoms are worth treating NOW, not when you hit some Dr's ideal weight. Vote for your Dr with your feet and go to somebody that knows that you lose weight when your body is working right hormonally, not the other way around.
