LOL don't go into denial! I've been on met for a month now and finally up to the 2000 mg. Hubby was teasing me about my baggy pants so I went and bought a scale. So far I've lost 7 1/2 lbs on it. I think part of my weight loss is I became sensitive to sugar it seems like so haven't had a soda in a month, or candy bar but then again my sugar cravings are gone also. Keep up the good work everyone.

It seemed as if the sugar cravings disappeared about the beginning of week 3 when I changed my dose to 1500mg. At 1000mg things tasted really weird you know almost like you taste it and go yuck afterwards. LOL After that I've had no problems. I was a big coke drinker and not even one in the last month. I think with everyone though it's different just like the weight loss. Good Luck!

I've been on Met for about a month. Stepped from 1000 to 1500 after two weeks. I have terrible sugar cravings. Last night, I went shopping and bought four different kinds of pudding snacks before I even realized it (luckily I went for the fat-free, sugar-free type on at least two of them, but still...) I've been very good about not giving in to the cravings, but I can't seem to stop wanting anything that tastes sweet.
Does this eventually go away on Met?? It'd be alot easier for me to maintain/lose weight if I wasn't dreaming of (and occasionally eating) ice cream constantly.
