Talking Oh, where to begin....(Concord, NH)

Hi everyone!

I'll try to intro myself, and to make this short, and to the point. I used to post here quite a bit, but it's literally been several years since I was a regular...We were going the injectibles route when I got laid off, and we lost what had been AWESOME insurance. It took me a long time to pick myself up - not from the job loss as much as from the "loss" of being able to try and get PG via the injectibles.

Anyway - we have moved on, and have decided to pursuit adoption as a means to grow our family. we have recently relocated from Florida, to the Concord, New Hampshire area. At this time I am interestedin pursuing domestic adoption, though not necessarily a newborn. Any thoughts, suggestions, insights???

Hi Suzanne,

Check the link above about adoption resources. I haven't looked it in a while but it did have some good links in it.

I don't know anything about domestic adoptions but I do know that Wide Horizons in Waltham MA does both international and domestic. You can find them at www.whfc.org

Other than that--if you decide ever to look into China I can certainly help you there!

Best of luck and welcome to the Adoption Option!!

Lisa - Thank you so much for the reply. I read it the day you replied, and started researching Wide Horizons immediately. (I have to apologize for not responding sooner.) I actually contacted them for some info, and DH and I went to one of their general infomration meetings last Thursday. We have already registered to attend another meeting this upcoming week regarding domestic adoptions, and may investgate one of their international prgrams as well. We were really, (REALLY) impressed with their presentation and their staff. They even had an adoptive family join us for a discussion and a question and answer session. (I would recommend anyone interested in adoption- domestic or international- to attend one of their genercal information meetings. Lots of great info, even if you decide to go another route!)

Thank you again!
