If anyone can get to Cincinnati, she should definitely see Dr. Charles Glueck at the Jewish Hospital. He is a great endocrinologist with a lot of experience with PCOS, and is one of the leading PCOS researchers. Patients travel from all over the country to see him-- I got his name (he is my endo, and I'm THRILLED with him) from a UCLA biologist who studies PCOS and sends people she knows to him. If the distance is too great to permit regular in-office visits, he will set up a treatment plan with a local doctor, and everyone will work together. He and the other Drs in his practice are also great about communication via email.
I've had a lot of dissatisfying experiences with doctors, and having worked with them for years, am not in awe of physicians, but I really think that Dr. Glueck is fantastic, and trust him completely. He is definitely worth seeing!
