I have read in numerous different posts that clomid takes longer to work the second time around. I've read that some people need a higher dose than their original dose and others need to try other methods. Google it and perhaps you will find similar things.
I hope it happens soon for u. How quickly did the clomid work for you the first time?
Cheers,
Suzan

I O'd on CD37 and got pregnant, so Oing late doesn't mean you won't get pg.

Ovulating on CD24/25 isn't really late when you're on Clomid; in fact, that's pretty standard. I can only speak from personal experience when I tell you that increasing the dosage did not change anything for me as far as when ovulation occurred. As far as why you aren't pregnant yet...remember that there's really much more to it than just timing sex correctly. Even couples with no IF issues only have a 20% shot at conceiving each month. It takes time...even with treatments.

Wow, I never realized that you could O that late on Clomid. I am even an ex-ivf nurse. I don't really recall ever seeing anyone who ovulated that late. From everything that I read, it says that ovulation is likely from 5 -9 days AFTER the last Clomid pill.
This month was the first TTC#2. I took Clomid CD 3-7. Still no positive LH surge on CD 17 so I gave up. I had my progesterone level drawn on CD 21 that showed no ovulation. Today is CD 25 and now I must wait to see if AF starts so I can try another round. I am kinda bummed thinking that I shouldn't have stopped testing so soon. When I got pregnant with my son, I took Clomid 3-7 and then had a positive LH surge on CD 15.
I sure wish it was easier. But I do know that for next cycle I will continue testing much longer than CD 17.
