Default Ok this is embarassing

I've been recently diagnosed with PCOS and been on Met for a little less than a month so I have been doing lots of reading. I have the weird chin hair..which is bad enough.

But I have these little bumps, kinda like whiteheads, on the underside of my breasts. Everytime I mention them to the doctor she says it's just from skin on skin contact. But I don't have it anywhere else. I didn't even have it a year ago. Is this some other weird PCOS side effect or something else? Does anyone else have this or even heard of it? I hate it, occasionally they even turn into cystic pimples Will the Met help this? I can't take a whole lot of other things since we're TTC, but I thought I'd see if this was just me

Thanks!

You are most definitely NOT alone! I was just pondering this the other day! Seems like every time I shower (daily), I have more "titne" (tit acne) to pop. It royally ticks me off! I've just started using a scrub in the shower underneath my boobs, and then swabbing the underside with astringent afterward...we'll see how that goes! I don't want to do TOO much to my hooters, but I've been dealing with this ever since I can remember (I've always been a big girl with big boobs).

Just letting you know you're not alone! I don't know WHAT causes it, just that I have it as well!

I get bumps on the undersides of my arms. Met, Spiro and Apricot scrub have helped reduce it greatly.

The trick for us was 2000 mg Metformin, 500mg of Vitex, Chiropractor, and lots of prayer.

I recently got a rash on the back of my right arm, under my breasts, and on my lower abdomen. I think this is from the Met, but the doctor said it's from yeast. Not sure I believe that.

The rash on the back of my arm was the worst, and she gave me some steroid cream for that area. It cleared it right up.

The interesting thing is I've always had little white bumps on my upper arms (my pediatrician called them "milk bumps"--not sure if that even exists?)...anyway, this cream made those bumps go away. I was quite surprised, considering I've had them for 30+ years! Now I have smooth upper arms.

Totally. They're just starting to migrate to my breasts recently, which really pisses me off. They used to be mainly on my upper arms. And as for the rash that was yeast, yes, been there, done that too. Icky! I had it in between my boobs. Embarassing- especially because the dermatologist I had was not really a nice woman... But I'll get over it!

I sometimes have bumps on the tops of my breasts, rarely on the underside (42F here). Lately I've gotten what I guess is acne on my thighs, which is driving me crazy!! I've still got a month before my first appt with the endo for an official Dx, but I'll certainly be bringing that up.

I had the same thing and was told it was from yeast as well. She gave me a pill and some cream it went away. I though it was heat for me, I hadn't started the met at the time.

Maybe this is a big bewbie thing?? ha ha... I have always been BARELY an "A" cup and I have never had this problem.... I feel for y'all though! I have the bumps on the back of my arms, but the dermatologist told me it is ketokeratosis -- "chicken skin"... it is because the follicles are overactive and can't exfoliate themsleves. I use exfoliating scrub in the shower once a week or so and a lotion with alpha hydroxy -- makes for nice smooth skin. Love, hugs & babydust to all!
