I have been on MET 500mg XR for about 3 weeks and ever since it started I swear I have body odor. My armpits start smelling around the afternoon timeframe and I have NEVER experienced this before.

Does anyone have any insight?

I noticed the same thing... Only lasted a few weeks for me... I thought it was because I switched deoderant "scents" but I'm still using the same & it has gone away... Then I figured it was ch-ch-ch-changes... (TMI here BUT... I thought my urine also smelt weird during the same time ... EEEWWWW I know... sorry) This only lasted a couple weeks for me...

No problem!! Wish you the best!! I was embarressed too... Seems I felt kinda "sticky" under my arms around that time too... I'm back to normal now... I never had a BO problem either... Plus I've heard you can't really smell your own BO so if you noticed right away, I bet that's what it is...

I used baby wipes & re applied DO a couple times a day until I didn't "feel" the need... I'm SUPER SELF CONCIOUS (sp).... Too many other issues to 'stink' too... LOL...

BTW... I don't believe anyone noticed & I made my DH & BF get pretty close & "try" to smell it... It was more "weird" than STRONG but to me it was just awful!!

I think that my bottle of pills smell horrible, almost like fish or something nasty! But I, thankfully, haven't noticed myself smelling like the pills!

Funny you say fish... Sometimes I get indigestion & (I know this is gross) sometimes it reminds me of fish... I figured it was my pills or one of my vitimens... YUCk!

I have taken vitamin E (with fisth oil) before and everytime I burped, it was like burping out a fish. I bet your vitamins have fish oil in it. It made me gag, so I had to start taking it with food....it is nasty.
