Points: 841.61 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 841.61 | Sorry - I didn't see this until tonight. I am using a brand called "Progesta-Care Plus" (Natural Progesterone) by Life-flo. I bought it at my local Nutrition Depot for about $30. What I really LOVE about it (besides the fact that it actually works -ha!) is that I don't have to measure - each pump provides 20 mg of Progesterone (and I use it once in the morning and once at night for 14 days at the second half of my cycle, discontinue and then get a period). One 4 oz bottle lasts me about 2 cycles (of 2x day for 14 days each.) Also, I know I read that I should make sure the progesterone ingredient says "USP" after it as it has to do with making sure the actual formula contains the amount the label says it does; this brand does have that USP marking on it.
Hope this helps! |

My Mood: Points: 7,321.03 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 7,321.03 | Hiya Sassy, sorry, only just seen your post,
I'd reccommend taking the brand pcos~chick is taking, it seems to have worked really well for her
Also, you could try this one, it's from a place called biovea,
it's 70g and the pump dispenses 20mg of progesterone with each pump.
It's about £18.50 including delivery. I'm going to order some tomorrow.
I'm still looking around though before I order, I've decided I'm either going to get it from same place as pcos~chick, the Biovea place, or that Serenity stuff. Haven't decided yet.

Progesterone degrades when it is exposed to air. Pump is best, but you should be ok if you use it up in a mo. or so. If given the choice over jar or tube, I'd take tube first. But better to find something in a pump next time. Otherwise it looks good. Just steer clear of menopausal geared formulas that contain things such as DHEA, cohashes, etc.
Good luck!

I've recently tried it (bought online from UK) after not having AF for 7 months. Have read some good feedback about it. Took it for 14 days (just min dose of 1/4 tsp a day) and it didn't bring on AF for me. Not giving up though will try it again starting Thursday for 14 days this time with 1/2 tsp a day. So we shall see what happens. Some of the ladies on here said it might be because I haven't had AF for a long time. I'll let you know what happens and we can compare |

I started doing it on day 10 because I have been reading a book about PCOS and ovarian cysts and they say that if you start the cream on day 10 and end it on day 26 that it stops the hormones from producing another cyst. I guess we will see. blah. I am just wishing it would cure this crap...though I know there's no cure.

I bought it in single-use capsules and can attest that it is potent! I used it for the first time last cycle and immediately noticed effects. I found it in Wholefoods, but I know it's popular enough to be carried lots of places and at its website, of course.
