I've been shaving 'down there' for a couple of years and now that it's actually beginning to unthaw here in Michigan, I'd like to get a brazilian done. I've never been daring enough to do it, but I think I'd like to give it a whirl -- has anybody done it and what is it as bad as I'm guessing it might be? how long did it last? thanks in advance to any other brave cyster!

I waxed a couple years ago...I would wouldnt do it again personally....I broke out!
I'm looking for something......less painful and less irratating

ouch girls......trust me u will be in pain....its alot less painfull just shaving it.
Find a really good razor and good cream, i normally find baby creams help to stop the itching and keeps it smother for longer.
Any way just my own thoughts on that one....

BTW, I always heard that a Brazilian wasn't just the bikini area, but also the other side or end or whatever. So I guess during that part, you can't squeeze em' together to wait for the pain. LOL

i have had a brazillian..certain parts feel like you are getting your skin ripped off and other areas dont even hurt...but boy baby the results rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be graphic the part of our anatomy where the lips start above the clitoris that is also the hardest part to shave... is the hardest and most painful part to wax... and fyi... you cant have any embarrassment getting it done.. you have to twist like a pretzel to get to certain areas... but the women that do it have seen it all..sometimes they even wax your butt crack...word of advice.. tip them good teeeheeeeeeeeeee
The salon that I go to is going to be offering "L.A Sugaring." It's the same as a Brazillian. The entire bikini area, and the butt crack. I cannot imagine having to bend and spread while someone applies and then rips off a sticky substance. :o LOL

I've had it done..wish she'd done my booty but she did do the rest. Love it! It gets easier to wax the more you do it. Now I have an epilator and do it to myself but it's hard to get way down in there with wax or an epilator on yourself. I'd love to get electrolysis but I'm too broke and embarassed. When I got waxed I was really nervous and I can't say it was fun, but I made it through it. Yes, some areas hurt more than others. Also, if you hold your skin tight it works best. I HATE being hairy down there and do anything I can not to be!
