I have had irregular periods since I was 13.....when I was 16, I had a miscarriage. Got pregnant again when I was 21 had another miscarriage and had an abortion when I was 22. Hubby and I have been trying for a while but the thing is we're both military and are always separated so it's kinda hard to get into a pattern of charting and everything.
So now we are at the point where we are ready but he is in Iraq. However I have been to the doc's was given Provera in March that initiated a period, no period in April but I had a period at the beginning of this month. Also we did an HSG and my tubes are clear and the doc said that my uterus looked "textbook". So I am fine there but I am just worried about regulating my periods and learning how to chart temps and crap. I also take Soy on cycle days 3-7.
Any suggestions on how to be "ready" when he gets home?

Shaquita I would just suggest that you keep doing what you are doing...You may want to start charting if you can now so that you can have some kind of pattern...How long is he in Iraq? My DH was in Kuwait/Iraq for our first year together...i hope he doesn't have to go back...What are you in the military...i'm still trying to learn some military lingo so that i will know something. there is another board that i'm on that is great it's the african american TTC part XXVII and they are great and fun to talk to...welcome to soul cyster

3/08 - provera...think I'd O but not sure 5/08 - provera, clomid, baby asprin, prenatals 6/08 - clomid (2nd round), baby asprin, prenatals, RRLT 7/08 - clomid (3rd round), baby asprin, prenatals, RRLT 8/08 - TAKING A BREAK
He's in Iraq until June 2009, but he is stationed in Germany and I am about to be stationed in Fort Dix, NJ. So we are ALWAYS separated. I am waiting to see if I get my period in June....I got one in March after taking Provera, it took about 31 days for me to get another one without the Provera, however during that time I think I o'd on Soy, LOL. I didn't menstruate at all in April, my period almost came on the 30th, I had cramps and all but no blood until the 1st of May.

man you too are always seperated. I don't even know if i could handl all of that. But it will happen when the time is right...yeah i just finished my 2nd time on provera so now i'm waiting for my cycle to start...it's around the corner i know because i've been a ***** to my husband all weekend. but that is how i was around the end of april. i had a cycle toward the end of march....and then i was waiting and waiting then nothing...so i made a dr. app. in the beginning of may..i thought my cycle would start...i felt the cramps and everything but nothing...
