Default Old Navy maternity clothes?

I was wondering if anyone knows how old navy maternity tops run? small/larger then normal? I was going to purchase some on-line but don't want to deal with the hastle of returns if needed. Pre-pregnancy I was wearing a 16-18. The sizing there says that 16-18 is XL. But with some of the motherhood tops an XL is a little snug. It just depends on the style /material I guess. Anyway just debating if I should get the XL or XXL (which is 20). Any useful info would be great.

I found the Old Navy stuff huge, but I tend to find their tops and things huge anyway. I never got any maternity tops from them -- I just bought regular ones one size bigger (the style of everything last year was loose anyway). You're probably okay with the XL. For pants, one issue is the waistband. It depends on how you're carrying and which band. I was in a lot of their "smalls" up until the very end.

I actually lost weight at the beginning of the pregnancy and seemed to drop sizes from my pre-pre size, but that said I still think the Old Navy bottoms run large. I would stick to the XL. And their maternity is all free-returns by mail, so I bought a couple of different sizes and then tried them on and sent back the one(s) that didn't fit.
Good luck!

Old navy is the same as to a little bigger than Motherhood. It is quite a bit bigger than Mimi. The pants I have found to be inconsistant, but tops are more forgiving. I would go with the XL.

Old Navy does seem to be bigger than normal, which is why I love to shop there

I am two sizes smaller than if I shop anywhere else...haha. My shirts especially were large. Most of the pants fit perfect, and 2 were too big. But all the shirts were baggy.

The shirts seem about right, maybe a bit big, but the pants are huge. I have to go down a whole size there.

I have some Old Navy tops and they are huge. I would recommend getting a size or even two smaller, or you might look like you're swimming in your clothes.

I found the shirts fit bigger than the pants. But maybe it is because I have ghetto booty.
