Has anyone heard from dr or otherwise that omega 3 helps lower testosterone? I'm confused as to why i'm on it. it was rx'd by my dr. I dont go in for 2 weeks so i want to gather some info before i talk to him about it.

I think it would probably be more to do with helping to stabilise your blood sugar/insulin. Here are just a few things it can help with:

ADHD
dyspraxia
violence
depression
memory problems
weight gain
cancer
heart disease
eczema
allergies
inflammatory diseases
arthritis
diabetes

Taz,

Can you point me to any research concerning the effects of omega 3 on dyslexia and ADHD? I work with dyslexic and ADD/ADHD children (have for 25 years), and I would be very interested to read about this.
